What happens to your data

What is collected
Your email address, your questionnaire answers — what you eat, what you avoid, and any allergies you list — and the plan generated from them. If you pay, the fact of payment and its date, but never your card number, which goes to Stripe directly and is never seen here.
Separately, the site records a small number of anonymous events — that a plan was started, a checkout began, a sample was downloaded — with a timestamp and, where relevant, which submission they relate to. There is no cookie, no device fingerprint, and nothing that tracks you across other websites. Nothing is sent to Google Analytics, Meta, or any other third-party analytics service, which is also why there is no cookie banner: nothing here needs your consent to run.
Why it is collected
To generate the plan you asked for, deliver it to you, and take payment for it — this is data processed to perform the contract you entered into by using the site. The anonymous events exist to answer one question honestly: whether the site itself is working, not to build a profile of you.
Who it is shared with
A short list of processors, each doing one job and holding only what that job needs:
- Anthropic — your questionnaire answers, to write the recipes in your plan.
- Stripe — your email and payment details, to take payment.
- Resend — your email address, to send your plan or sample.
- Supabase — hosts the database everything above is stored in.
None of them are permitted to use your data for their own purposes. Your data is never sold, and never shared with anyone for advertising.
How long it is kept
Your submission and plan are kept so that, if something goes wrong with delivery or you have a question about a past order, there is a record to look at. If you would like your data deleted rather than retained, email [email protected] and it will be removed, subject only to what has to be kept for tax and accounting records.
Your rights
Under UK data protection law you can ask to see what is held about you, have it corrected, have it deleted, or object to how it is used. Email [email protected] for any of these. If you are not satisfied with the answer, you can complain to the Information Commissioner’s Office at ico.org.uk.
Changes
If this policy changes, the version live on the site at the time is the one that applies.
